Responsibilities

  • Develop frontend and backend components of the REANA reproducible data analysis platform.
  • Support physicists in applying reusable computational data analysis practices.
  • Manage service deployment and operations on the Kubernetes cloud.
  • Collaborate with external institutes and partners on reproducible data analyses and open science infrastructure.
  • Participate in standby duty and work during nights, Sundays, and official holidays when required.

Requirements

  • Have no more than two years of professional experience since graduation in Computer Science or an equivalent or related field.
  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree; applicants without a university degree or with a PhD are not eligible.
  • Have experience with full-stack software development and frontend and backend technologies.
  • Have experience with container technologies, application deployment, monitoring, and security.
  • Have skills in React, Python, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Be a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
  • Have never held a CERN fellow or graduate contract.
  • Have spoken and written English and a commitment to learn French.
  • Familiarity with computational research data analysis principles is a plus.
