Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architectures, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Improve automation frameworks, build reusable libraries, and research automation architectures and solutions.
- Create test plans, test cases, usage scenarios, technical specifications, and automation backlogs.
- Track test coverage, defects, resolutions, bug fixes, deployment risks, and automation performance metrics.
- Develop automated validation processes and tools while ensuring code efficiency, documentation, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with development, Agile delivery, project management, business subject matter experts, clients, and testers.
- Support continuous deployment practices, acceptance criteria development, backend or database programming, and system problem resolution.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in test automation.
- Experience designing and executing automated testing tools and processes.
- Ability to develop test cases for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional testing.
- Ability to understand software requirements, system architecture, application stacks, and technology interdependencies.
- Ability to perform backend or database programming for key projects.
- Ability to document automation processes, test cases, debugging data, and performance reviews according to quality standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with test personnel, users, developers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry standards, accepted design patterns, software development practices, and automation frameworks.
