Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end quality engineering for enterprise storage platforms and hardware-software interactions.
- Design and develop scalable Python automation frameworks and tools for test coverage, system validation, debugging, and productivity.
- Troubleshoot dependencies across system layers and perform root cause analysis in large-scale enterprise storage environments.
- Apply AI/ML approaches to failure analysis, test optimization, anomaly detection, and workflow automation.
- Build reusable tools and utilities that improve engineering productivity, test effectiveness, and observability.
- Resolve customer issues, collaborate cross-functionally, promote innovation, and mentor others.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience with enterprise storage systems or similar large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience building automation frameworks, tools, and test systems.
- Solid understanding of testing fundamentals, debugging, and automation design.
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Experience with customer issue resolution, system debugging, and cross-functional engineering collaboration.
- Preferred experience with enterprise storage hardware, firmware, drivers, and platform software layers.
- Preferred experience applying AI/ML techniques, generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted testing to engineering or quality problems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills.
