Base Salary
$210k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build features across backend services, infrastructure, and frontend experiences from concept through deployment and iteration.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, ChatGPT, and Devin in daily engineering workflows.
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI into the product and internal engineering processes.
- Write production-grade code balancing speed, maintainability, reliability, and scalability.
- Drive architectural decisions and platform improvements that support faster product development and technical flexibility.
- Collaborate with product and design to turn ideas, customer feedback, and prototypes into intuitive user experiences.
- Mentor engineers and raise the organization’s technical bar through leadership, feedback, and engineering excellence.
- Champion automation, observability, AI-enabled workflows, and rapid experimentation.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally in SaaS or large-scale web applications.
- Proven ability to design and ship complex systems end to end across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and data layers.
- Strong proficiency with modern AI engineering tools and workflows, including using AI to code, debug, research, prototype, document, and improve productivity.
- Ability to move quickly while maintaining quality.
- Strong product and UX instincts, including care for performance and polished user experiences.
- Systems thinking and technical judgment to balance short-term pragmatism with long-term scalability and maintainability.
- Collaborative, low-ego communication across engineering, product, and design.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn quickly and use appropriate tools, including AI.
