Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Kubernetes Operators, including deployment and monitoring tools.
- Engage in development tasks using Go, Java, or similar languages.
- Operate services such as Kafka, Elasticsearch, and RabbitMQ at an enterprise scale.
- Contribute to the self-healing capabilities of applications in enterprise environments.
- Develop playbooks for actionable alerts to streamline response procedures.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Maintain and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for lifecycle operations.
- Prevent and investigate production issues using problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in data reliability or platform engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with Container Technologies and Orchestration like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with data streaming and messaging platforms like Kafka and Elasticsearch.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab.
- Commitment to staying updated with industry trends and technologies.
- Knowledge of best practices in security and secure coding standards.
- Experience with Cloud Providers, preferably AWS Cloud.
- Expertise in monitoring and observability stacks like Grafana and Prometheus.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code practices and tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Self-driven, motivated, and passionate about creative problem-solving.
