Software Engineer
Thought MachineResponsibilities
- Design, implement, and develop scalable and performant microservices.
- Build both backend services and frontend experiences across the software stack.
- Write automated unit and integration tests as part of the development cycle.
- Manage and debug deployments from testing environments through production.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate features coherently.
- Translate customer requirements into trackable tickets and support project scoping and deliverable definition.
Requirements
- Experience with either Python or Golang.
- Experience developing automated tests as an integral part of the development cycle.
- Interest in client-facing projects, including scoping and defining deliverables.
- Knowledge of banking or finance is desirable.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud providers is desirable.
- Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases is desirable.
- Experience with client/server software architectures, networking, or microservice architectures is desirable.
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Mesos is desirable.
- Experience developing and deploying AI-powered applications is desirable.
- Experience with user-centered design principles and building self-service platforms that improve developer productivity and autonomy is desirable.
