Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and extend the core UI platform.
- Develop business-critical web applications using the platform.
- Partner with teams across the firm to help them build applications.
- Improve developer productivity and deliver platform enhancements while managing change carefully.
- Produce high-quality code and applications through testing, pair programming, estimation, and collaborative development practices.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience building web-based user interfaces.
- Extensive experience with React, TypeScript, WebSocket protocols, REST, and UI unit testing.
- Comfort working in a highly collaborative environment with sprints, pair programming, testing, and estimation.
- Empathy for developers who consume the platform and foresight to improve their experience.
- Reliable and predictable availability.
- An eye for quality design is preferred.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, containers, and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Experience in trading or finance is preferred.
