Responsibilities
- Use an AI-native approach throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design and develop scalable cloud platform services, frameworks, and features across the G-P ecosystem.
- Prototype concepts and convert them into production-quality software.
- Develop solutions for a cloud-managed, serverless-first platform ecosystem.
- Advocate for modern Agile practices, the Well Architected Framework, quality, scalability, and delivery speed.
- Diagnose and resolve issues reported by internal teams and customers.
- Develop and promote unit, contract, integration, and other test suites.
- Support and coach software engineers through advice, education, and development opportunities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing highly scalable enterprise services, platforms, or products.
- Extensive experience building large-scale distributed enterprise applications in geographically distributed teams.
- Deep backend knowledge across technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, Redis, and Golang.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of modern cloud architectures and technologies; AWS experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and experience documenting and delivering technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Startup or high-growth environment experience and the ability to hustle are desirable.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling, data architecture, data governance, CRM integrations, third-party integrations, workflow orchestration or choreography, or production AI is preferred.
