Base Salary
$160k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java and Spring Boot microservices.
- Develop and support RESTful APIs and backend services deployed in AWS, including Amazon ECS, AWS Lambda, Amazon RDS, and Amazon S3.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software build, testing, deployment, and release activities.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or comparable tools.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security in cloud-native environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues using tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, Prometheus, and the ELK Stack.
- Develop unit and integration tests and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers, front-end developers, product teams, and government stakeholders.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph with the customer.
- Bachelor’s degree and seven years of software engineering experience.
- Experience developing backend applications with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, AWS cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing production systems.
- Experience developing unit and integration tests.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, additional AWS services, Git, Jira, Confluence, Agile software development environments, and Intelligence Community or DoD mission applications.
