Base Salary
$85k - $95k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications in Linux environments.
- Develop and modify software using C++ and Java according to established coding standards.
- Write and maintain Shell, Python, JavaScript, Bash, or Perl scripts for automation and system operations.
- Assist with debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, software integration, and deployment activities.
- Follow established development processes and apply secure and reliable software development practices.
- Collaborate with team members in a team-oriented development environment.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph with the customer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience developing or working with software in a Linux environment.
- Proficiency in C++ and Java.
- Experience with two or more scripting languages, including Shell, JavaScript, Python, Bash, or Perl.
- Ability to work effectively on a team, strong problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Preferred: exposure to version control systems such as Git.
- Preferred: familiarity with basic software development lifecycle concepts and interest in mission-focused or secure environments.
