Base Salary
$150k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based applications and backend services.
- Design, develop, and support RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.
- Modernize data-processing services and mission applications.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to implement new capabilities.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and system problems.
- Maintain technical documentation and software artifacts.
- Support software integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and software development best practices.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph for the customer.
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience developing Java applications and backend services.
- Experience developing and supporting RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Experience using Git for source code management.
- Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.
- Experience using IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse IDE.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities and mission requirements.
- Experience with malware analysis, cybersecurity, mission-focused analytic platforms, legacy modernization, enterprise architectures, distributed systems, or Intelligence Community environments is preferred.
