Responsibilities
- Design and guide customers toward secure, resilient, AI-enabled, cost-optimized, and performance-optimized cloud solutions.
- Translate customer and partner problems into Microsoft-aligned industry solutions and business outcomes.
- Provide proof-of-concept, minimally viable product, rapid prototyping, technical validation, and technical pre-sales support.
- Accelerate customer deployment, adoption, usage, consumption, and long-term organizational change.
- Identify and manage technical and business risks, blockers, governance needs, and operational readiness requirements.
- Build relationships with technical and business decision makers, including CIO, CISO, and other C-level stakeholders.
- Orchestrate Microsoft, customer, partner, sales, engineering, and virtual technical teams.
- Lead mentoring, technical readiness, upskilling, presentations, community events, and knowledge sharing.
- Gather field insights and influence product roadmaps, bug prioritization, intellectual property, frameworks, and scalable practices.
- Identify strategic partner and cross-solution opportunities aligned with revenue and consumption goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field plus 7+ years of relevant cloud, infrastructure, IT consulting, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, architecture, or consulting experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualification of a bachelor’s degree plus 12+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree plus 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- At least 6 years of experience leading technical projects.
- Technical cloud certification, such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, or security certifications.
- Experience advising complex customers and partners, leading technical teams, and engaging technical and business executives is expected.
