Responsibilities
- Increase automated regression coverage and execution efficiency.
- Develop automated test frameworks, validation tools, and scalable validation platforms.
- Perform product validation, interoperability testing, software testing, and release-readiness analysis.
- Use debugging, root-cause analysis, and data-driven quality analysis to reduce defect escape rates.
- Develop engineering tools, dashboards, or applications and contribute to manufacturing and laboratory automation.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Firmware, Signal Integrity, Systems Architecture, Manufacturing, and Customer Engineering teams.
- Support qualification of next-generation high-speed connectivity products.
- Manage multiple software development initiatives across competing priorities and deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in product development, validation engineering, test automation, software testing, or interoperability testing is required.
- Experience working in a laboratory-based engineering environment.
- Proficiency in Python or an equivalent programming language.
- Experience developing automated test frameworks and validation tools.
- Knowledge of software testing best practices, source control, and Agile Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience with Git, GitLab or GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, and CI/CD workflows.
- Preferred experience with Active Electrical Cables, Active Copper Cables, Active Optical Cables, or high-speed interconnect products.
- Preferred knowledge of CMIS specifications and management interfaces.
- Preferred familiarity with PAM4 signaling, BER testing, jitter analysis, equalization, and signal integrity concepts.
- Preferred experience with BERTs, VNAs, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, automated laboratory environments, PyTest, hardware-in-the-loop automation, and large-scale regression systems.
- Preferred experience developing web applications, dashboards, or engineering tools using Python and React or similar technologies.
- Preferred understanding of AI-assisted testing, data analytics, or intelligent automation solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, independent-work, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork skills, with fluency in spoken and written English and availability to collaborate across time zones.
