Base Salary
$120k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Apply computer vision, multimodal AI, and LLM techniques to construction documents.
- Prototype, iterate, build, and deploy AI systems that handle noisy and heterogeneous inputs.
- Own modeling, data pipelines, and inference systems for automated material takeoffs and cost estimation.
- Perform data labeling, ETL, and deployment tasks as part of a small founding team.
- Collaborate with product teams and users to identify and solve high-impact problems.
- Communicate progress and technical tradeoffs clearly and empathetically.
Requirements
- Hands-on production experience applying computer vision, multimodal AI, and LLM techniques to messy real-world documents or similar unstructured data.
- Experience launching AI systems into production or building core parts of a new product.
- Experience iterating quickly on prototypes using real user feedback and production data.
- Experience building or shipping something used by real users or customers.
- Willingness to handle pragmatic founding-team engineering work, including data labeling, ETL, and deployment.
- US work authorization is required.
- Construction domain knowledge is a plus.
- Candidates at any experience level, including new graduates with relevant production experience, are welcome.
