Base Salary
$260k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and optimize data streaming and messaging architecture.
- Manage and enhance real-time data streaming platforms for robust ingestion and efficient processing.
- Own end-to-end supply line visibility data integration across third-party, in-house, and Ryder-managed execution platforms.
- Lead the architecture and delivery of large-scale integrations with enterprise supply chain execution systems.
- Translate complex data challenges into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Baton and Ryder.
- Mentor engineering teams and shape strategic technical direction for the data platform.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success solving real-time data challenges at large-scale enterprises, including common dual-write solutions.
- Technical leadership experience and cross-functional collaboration across an organization.
- Advanced Python proficiency at a Staff engineering level.
- Five or more years of software development experience.
- Infrastructure development experience with big data technologies such as Databricks, Kafka, and Spark.
- Knowledge of modern big data, data analytics, and big data technologies.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field is preferred.
- Experience or strong interest in freight and logistics is preferred.
