Base Salary

$260k - $350k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, maintain, and optimize data streaming and messaging architecture.
Manage and enhance real-time data streaming platforms for robust ingestion and efficient processing.
Own end-to-end supply line visibility data integration across third-party, in-house, and Ryder-managed execution platforms.
Lead the architecture and delivery of large-scale integrations with enterprise supply chain execution systems.
Translate complex data challenges into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Baton and Ryder.
Mentor engineering teams and shape strategic technical direction for the data platform.

Demonstrated success solving real-time data challenges at large-scale enterprises, including common dual-write solutions.
Technical leadership experience and cross-functional collaboration across an organization.
Advanced Python proficiency at a Staff engineering level.
Five or more years of software development experience.
Infrastructure development experience with big data technologies such as Databricks, Kafka, and Spark.
Knowledge of modern big data, data analytics, and big data technologies.
A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field is preferred.
Experience or strong interest in freight and logistics is preferred.

Hybrid schedule with remote work on Monday and Friday and office work Tuesday through Thursday in Hayes Valley, San Francisco.
