Responsibilities

  • Provide first- and second-level production support for application incidents, outages, access issues, deployment failures, and infrastructure problems.
  • Manage application deployments to UAT and Production while following approval, change management, SDLC, validation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Own ServiceNow change requests, including planning, execution, documentation, EIQ/AIQ activities, and audit readiness.
  • Monitor application and infrastructure health using API checks, response-time analysis, logs, and proactive troubleshooting.
  • Administer infrastructure, networking, VPN tunnels, certificates, CIDR management, cloud and on-premises connectivity, operating systems, security patching, and firewalls.
  • Manage backups, recovery processes, high-availability configurations, disaster recovery testing, and simulation exercises.
  • Provision and maintain Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments through automation and infrastructure standardization.
  • Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions and build or optimize CI/CD pipelines.
  • Support adoption of enterprise DevOps tools, automated quality gates, artifact repositories, and release management processes.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Operations.
  • The posting also describes the role as requiring 4–7 years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Experience with GitLab, SonarQube, Jira, and ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration and operating-system patch management.
  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, load balancers, and SSL certificates.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Splunk, ELK, and CloudWatch.
  • Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, high-availability architectures, and business continuity planning.
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments, GxP, validation, and audit compliance is highly desirable.
  • Experience supporting healthcare, life-sciences, or regulated enterprise applications is preferred.
  • AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, or DevOps-related certifications are preferred.
  • Knowledge of containerization and release management processes is preferred.
