Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available, high-performance Kubernetes infrastructure and deployment systems.
- Develop, optimize, and operate resilient microservices architectures.
- Establish, maintain, and improve automated CI/CD pipelines for microservices running in Kubernetes.
- Lead migration from Ansible-based deployment systems to Kubernetes-native CI/CD solutions.
- Develop and optimize mission-critical IT systems with demanding availability, performance, and security requirements.
- Collaborate with development, operations, product management, and external stakeholders on technical architecture and implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of extensive, proven experience in software development, ideally in backend development or cloud-native technologies.
- At least 3 years of hands-on Kubernetes experience, including developing Kubernetes Operators and understanding the Kubernetes ecosystem.
- Practical experience configuring and using Ansible for automation.
- Practical experience with Helm for Kubernetes package management and deployment.
- Deep understanding and proficient handling of Linux operating systems.
- Practical experience developing, managing, and operating microservices-based applications.
- Knowledge and initial practical experience with Solace PubSub+ is a plus.
- Experience with OpenBao for secrets management is desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, English-language, and independent-working skills are required; German is a plus.
