Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Spring Boot and Spring Cloud microservices.
- Build and maintain event-driven messaging pipelines using Solace PubSub+ topics, queues, guaranteed delivery, and replay.
- Implement and own RESTful APIs, including API design standards, documentation, versioning, and security.
- Apply secure coding practices, including input validation, secrets management, least privilege, and dependency vulnerability management.
- Write testable code with unit, integration, and BDD coverage.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and Ansible.
- Package and deploy services with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Operate and monitor production services using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and related observability tooling.
- Work with PostgreSQL on schemas, query optimization, and Flyway or Liquibase migrations.
- Participate in code reviews, incident response, production support, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- BE, BTech, or MCA qualification.
- 7+ years of Java development experience and 4+ years running Spring Boot microservices in production.
- Strong knowledge of Java 11, 17, or 21, concurrency, memory management, clean code, SOLID principles, design patterns, and performance profiling.
- Experience with Spring Boot, MVC, Data JPA, Security, Spring Cloud, REST principles, OpenAPI or Swagger, OAuth2, and JWT.
- Experience with Solace PubSub+ topics and queues, durable subscriptions, replay, dead-letter or error queues, and acknowledgment modes.
- Experience with Cucumber, Gherkin, integration testing, JUnit 5, and Mockito.
- Experience with Git workflows, Jenkins pipeline-as-code, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and deployment probes.
- Experience with Grafana dashboards and alerts, Prometheus and PromQL, Loki and LogQL, and tracing using Zipkin, Sleuth, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with Vault, Jasypt, or equivalent secrets-management tooling.
- Comfort working in Agile/Scrum teams and communicating technical trade-offs to technical and business stakeholders.
- Security-conscious mindset and ownership through delivery and production support.
