Responsibilities
- Deploy and release data engineering, BI, and AI solutions across development, industry, and production environments.
- Own release readiness, verification, rollback, and multi-environment release management.
- Build and optimize GitLab and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines with YAML for automated artifact build and deployment.
- Operate Azure services including ADF, Databricks, ADLS Gen2, AKS, Key Vault, Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, AI Search, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Power BI, and FastAPI.
- Monitor platform health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights, and perform root-cause analysis on production incidents.
- Secure deployments with Key Vault, Managed Identity, RBAC, Entra ID, and row-level security.
- Coordinate provisioning, networking, access, and environment setup with the Platform Team and project teams.
- Drive continuous improvement of DevOps processes, automation, governance, configuration consistency, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure services.
- Proven CI/CD experience with GitLab, YAML pipelines, and multi-environment release management.
- Experience with Git branching strategies including GitFlow and trunk-based development.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS fundamentals.
- Experience with Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, Python, and Azure CLI.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Knowledge of cloud security controls including Key Vault, Managed Identity, and Entra ID.
- Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and cross-team coordination skills.
