Responsibilities
- Develop software for ARM processors and microprocessors used in military communications systems.
- Contribute to communications, intercom, networking, and vehicle retrofit projects for military vehicles and command posts.
- Work on embedded, desktop, and web-based software projects as part of a cross-functional team.
- Collaborate in a hybrid environment that includes work from home and an electronics lab.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Eligible for a co-op work term and able to provide proof of enrollment and a recent academic transcript.
- Experience with embedded development using C/C++, software development using C#, or web development using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js is requested.
- Experience with Git, Linux and/or Windows development, and VS Code is requested.
- Familiarity with AI/ML models is requested.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and able to meet applicable Canadian government security-clearance and controlled-goods requirements.
