Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of complex Python-based generative AI platforms, applications, services, and supporting infrastructure.
- Define architectures for AI use cases and integrate AI capabilities across Citi business units.
- Drive delivery of generative AI products and process improvements with internal, external, vendor, and startup partners.
- Resolve high-impact technical and business problems involving GenAI processes, system architecture, and industry standards.
- Establish Python coding standards, testing methodologies, debugging practices, and enterprise implementation strategies.
- Manage concurrent initiatives and projects of varying sizes and complexity.
- Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts working with Python and GenAI technologies.
- Collaborate with Risk and Control teams on governance, risk management, standardization, and tooling.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software industry experience, including enterprise software development.
- 6+ years of experience developing and implementing scalable Python-based AI platforms and applications.
- 5+ years of delivering complex Python-based solutions and backend services or APIs into production.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects of varying sizes and complexities.
- Understanding of generative AI systems, AIOps, and application monitoring and evaluation.
- Experience with cloud architectures and public cloud offerings.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI and machine learning technologies using Python.
- Experience with software development agents, CI/CD pipelines, software testing, and code reviews.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, communication, documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and strategic skills.
- Financial industry experience is a significant advantage.
- Bachelor's degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.

- Full-time position.
- Primary location salary range is $120,800.00-$170,800.00 annually.
