Base Salary

$55k - $113k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support distributed software applications.
  • Build full-stack engineering solutions using backend, frontend, API, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Deliver reliable, high-quality systems and support excellent customer experiences.
  • Work with client engagement teams throughout requirements definition, engineering design, development, integration, and testing.
  • Provide technology recommendations based on current technology environments and industry trends.
  • Learn new technologies, manage changing priorities, and collaborate in an innovative and inclusive project environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in technology software development.
  • Backend experience with Java, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, microservices, serverless, and cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
  • Frontend development experience with React, Angular, or responsive web design.
  • Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native or microservices architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and container deployment.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, unit and integration testing frameworks, and TDD or BDD techniques.
  • Ability to work in an Agile and TDD environment and travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Preferred experience with Akka/Scala, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Hadoop/Spark/Flume, and MongoDB/Cassandra or other NoSQL databases.
  • Strong computer science background, intellectual curiosity, self-direction, quick learning ability, and willingness to work with diverse client teams.
