Base Salary
$55k - $113k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support distributed software applications.
- Build full-stack engineering solutions using backend, frontend, API, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
- Deliver reliable, high-quality systems and support excellent customer experiences.
- Work with client engagement teams throughout requirements definition, engineering design, development, integration, and testing.
- Provide technology recommendations based on current technology environments and industry trends.
- Learn new technologies, manage changing priorities, and collaborate in an innovative and inclusive project environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in technology software development.
- Backend experience with Java, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, microservices, serverless, and cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Frontend development experience with React, Angular, or responsive web design.
- Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native or microservices architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and container deployment.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, unit and integration testing frameworks, and TDD or BDD techniques.
- Ability to work in an Agile and TDD environment and travel up to 50% of the time.
- Preferred experience with Akka/Scala, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Hadoop/Spark/Flume, and MongoDB/Cassandra or other NoSQL databases.
- Strong computer science background, intellectual curiosity, self-direction, quick learning ability, and willingness to work with diverse client teams.
