Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve MaxText as a pre-training and post-training solution for TPUs on GCP.
- Implement LLM modeling and scaling techniques, including multimodal, Physical AI, and world models.
- Build and support JAX and its ecosystem for GCP customers.
- Support new TPU and GPU accelerator introductions on GCP and contribute to MLPerf submissions for generative AI workloads.
- Collaborate with product managers and partner teams to deliver software products and features throughout their lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience in software development.
- Two years of experience with applied machine learning, including developing and deploying models.
- Experience with large language models, NLP, or generative AI.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: eight years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: three years of technical leadership experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: experience optimizing machine learning workloads running on CPUs, GPUs, or TPUs.
Benefits
- US base salary of $207000-$300000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
