Responsibilities
- Develop command-and-control and autonomy software for uncrewed planes, boats, vehicles, and submersibles.
- Develop flight-critical software while following defined software safety practices.
- Perform software architecture reviews, create software designs, and update documentation.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests for new capabilities.
- Maintain code, perform merging, and follow configuration management practices.
- Collaborate with Agile software development teams and DoD customers in incremental delivery cycles.
- Lead or contribute to small- and mid-sized development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or the hard sciences from an accredited college; ABET accreditation is preferred.
- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be comfortable in a Linux environment and familiar with configuration management practices.
- Experience leading small- to mid-sized development teams.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance or higher.
- Preferred experience with C#/.NET, Python, Rust, Git, single-board computers, UxS command-and-control message formats, and next-generation DoD C2 architectures.
- Must communicate effectively, work independently and collaboratively, manage priorities, and interact professionally with customers and staff.
