Responsibilities
- Drive architectural decisions for a scalable, maintainable liquidity platform and establish technical standards and design patterns.
- Lead technical design reviews, code evaluations, post-mortems, and blameless retrospectives.
- Mentor mid-level and senior engineers and break down complex problems into actionable work.
- Own critical systems end-to-end from design through production support, including reliability and incident prevention.
- Modernize the cloud-native platform and build real-time cash and liquidity data pipelines.
- Develop support for traditional fiat currencies, digital assets, and AI-powered cash-flow forecasting features.
- Improve developer experience, engineering practices, code quality, observability, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience and 3+ years working on complex, business-critical production systems.
- Experience with products at significant scale, cross-functional projects, and multi-quarter initiatives.
- Experience leading technical designs implemented by teams of 3+ engineers and making lasting architectural decisions.
- Proficiency with a major cloud platform, preferably Azure, plus Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipeline design, observability, and service mesh concepts.
- Deep expertise with C#/.NET and relational databases, ideally SQL Server, including query optimization, indexing, and data modeling.
- Experience building large-scale multi-tenant enterprise applications and RESTful APIs, with familiarity with GraphQL, gRPC, and webhooks.
- Deep knowledge of React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to make technical trade-offs, resolve ambiguity, and provide technical leadership.
