Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, manual, and exploratory testing.
- Create detailed test scenarios and test cases from business requirements.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, identify defects, and track defects through closure.
- Perform API automation and validate business workflows and user journeys.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, risk assessment, and quality-standard adherence.
- Ensure test coverage, traceability, and integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders.
- Adopt AI-assisted development tools and practices to improve productivity and code quality.
Requirements
- Strong experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, or PyTest.
- Experience with API automation using REST Assured, Postman, or Karate.
- Knowledge of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
- Strong functional-testing knowledge, including test-case design techniques, smoke testing, sanity testing, regression testing, and UAT support.
- Hands-on experience with defect-management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to understand and validate business workflows and user journeys.
- Preferred experience with Cucumber or SpecFlow, JMeter or Gatling, Appium, AWS, and Azure.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
