Base Salary
$131k - $272k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the infrastructure toolset supporting SAP Sovereign Cloud operations.
- Lead proof-of-concept development and integrate tooling into productive environments.
- Automate cloud delivery workflows and large-scale provisioning using Infrastructure as Code.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and deliver sustainable solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, security engineers, and programme managers.
- Help shape technical standards and the technical direction of the programme.
- Travel up to 10% as required.
Requirements
- Deep proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure, and OpenStack.
- Expertise with Kubernetes, including converting virtual-machine workloads into containers.
- Experience with scripting languages and cloud automation pipelines.
- Mastery of ML lifecycle automation, infrastructure design, and performance optimization, with the ability to evangelize MLOps principles and coach peers.
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Willingness to undergo a governmental security clearance process due to the potentially classified nature of the work.
- Ability to take independent ownership of complex tooling challenges and mentor junior engineers.
