Base Salary
$73k - $133k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain test methodology documentation for traceability and repeatability.
- Identify regression test candidates, plan automation activities, and automate test cases.
- Execute functional, regression, exploratory, performance, load, and smoke tests for web applications and databases.
- Report software issues with reproduction steps in work management tools.
- Create and execute test strategies, detailed test plans, scenarios, and automated test scripts.
- Support risk management, requirements analysis, test design, test tool selection, and software development activities.
- Create, collect, and track test-related metrics and improve testing efficiency.
- Evaluate and integrate new testing tools, technologies, and procedures.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance are required.
- A bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or a master’s degree with 2+ years of experience is required; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
- Experience with software development using Java, Node.js/JavaScript, C++, or Rust is required.
- Experience writing or developing test procedures and automated test scripts is required.
- Experience with tools such as TestComplete, Selenium, Playwright, Puppeteer, Cucumber, QF-Test, or Cypress is required or relevant.
- Preferred qualifications include active Secret clearance, experience automating unit, functional, integration, and performance testing, and familiarity with software development processes and design patterns.
- Preferred experience includes Atlassian tools, component-based web frameworks, Git, GitLab, SQL and NoSQL databases, and the U.S.STRATCOM Nuclear Planning process.
