Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build risk-based testing strategies and lead quality discussions across the squad.
- Design and execute tests for front-end UI, APIs, backend services, and data pipelines.
- Create reliable automated checks using Playwright and scripting.
- Own quality initiatives, define success criteria, challenge defect priorities, and reduce production risk.
- Investigate complex problems, identify root causes, and measure quality outcomes.
- Coach teammates, contribute to hiring, and raise quality standards across the team.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design and use AI tools to improve testing workflows.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software testing experience.
- Hands-on expertise with API testing, backend and data-heavy systems, and front-end validation.
- Proficiency with automation frameworks such as Playwright and languages such as Python or TypeScript.
- Experience owning quality for a squad, leading testing initiatives, defining success criteria, and reducing production risk.
- Ability to investigate complex problems, support findings with data, and focus on user experience.
- Preferred familiarity with load, stress, and scalability testing, including tools such as JMeter.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Passion for or experience with Basketball, American Football, or Ice Hockey is preferred.
