Responsibilities
- Co-own parts of the product roadmap and backlog, including defining and scoping future product work.
- Implement features from proposal and specification through maintenance.
- Review pull requests and contribute to code quality.
- Improve codebase health and reduce technical debt through regular housekeeping.
- Provide feedback during planning and technical discussions with the team.
- Build sensor capabilities, protocol dissectors, and event-collection functionality.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience as a software engineer.
- Strong experience with Golang.
- Significant experience building high-throughput, low-latency systems.
- Familiarity with common communication protocols and willingness to work with packet processing.
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly and use AI with sound engineering judgment.
- Strong collaboration, independent contribution, and communication skills.
- Growth-minded and pragmatic approach to problem solving, simplification, iteration, and use of data and feedback.
- Bonus: experience with Python, cloud environments, Linux systems, or eBPF development.
