Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient backend components, services, and orchestration.
- Develop API-based integrations and contribute to system design for cloud-scale software.
- Provide technical leadership for projects of increasing complexity and take end-to-end ownership of deliverables.
- Review functional and technical requirements, identify gaps, propose simplifications, and communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Support high-quality software delivery through engineering best practices, testing, code reviews, and resilient architectures.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience delivering and supporting enterprise-ready cloud-based systems.
- Hands-on experience architecting and developing backend and frontend services.
- Software development experience in any programming language.
- Experience developing scalable microservices architectures.
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery strategies, monitoring and alerting, and software development best practices.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and end-to-end testing tools.
- Ability to adapt to ambiguity, take initiative, and balance speed and risk using data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, Kafka, object stores, Kubernetes, Redis, and PostgreSQL is preferred.
- Familiarity with React, NestJS, Fastify, and MikroORM is a strong plus.
