Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain AWS infrastructure for multiple development teams.
- Automate infrastructure deployment using AWS CloudFormation and Ansible.
- Manage Infrastructure as Code scripts and YAML templates in GitHub using git version control.
- Set up and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage AWS Elastic Load Balancers, auto-scaling groups, EC2, S3 files and permissions, and CloudWatch monitoring.
- Configure alarms, dashboards, and alerts and actively monitor servers and infrastructure for issues.
- Troubleshoot Linux systems and write Bash scripts.
- Assist security teams with implementing security controls and ensuring compliance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant DevOps experience.
- Experience managing Elastic Load Balancers and auto-scaling groups with AWS EC2.
- Experience with AWS CloudWatch alarms, dashboards, and alerts.
- Experience managing files and permissions in AWS S3.
- Experience building Infrastructure as Code with AWS CloudFormation and YAML templates.
- Strong Linux troubleshooting skills and Bash scripting experience.
- Experience building and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and using Ansible for server automation.
- Strong knowledge of git and version control for Infrastructure as Code in GitHub.
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Desired: experience with API Gateway, AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, Kubernetes infrastructure, multiple teams, Agile two-week sprints, and AWS certification.
