Responsibilities
- Design and build controlled multi-agent workflows and end-to-end pipelines for data retrieval, reasoning, evaluation, and decision-making.
- Integrate and select frontier or internally fine-tuned AI models based on complexity, cost, and accuracy trade-offs.
- Develop and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Python or ServiceNow Scripting.
- Build UIs and dashboards using Service Portal, React, or Angular.
- Apply RAG, observability, logging, and traceability to ensure reliable, reproducible agent workflows.
- Collaborate with domain experts, product managers, and engineers to deliver resilient automation systems.
- Participate in code reviews, post-deployment analysis, and production debugging.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of software development experience with strong command of Java or Python.
- Hands-on experience developing LLM-powered or agent-based systems for production use cases.
- Experience implementing frontier AI models in enterprise workflow applications.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, event-driven systems, asynchronous workflows, and backend design.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns, with attention to performance and scalability.
- Experience deploying AI or automation systems in production with versioning, traceability, and performance monitoring.
- Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation, vector stores, and prompt optimization.
- Working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and JavaScript, or willingness to learn.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
