Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, architecture, application and database design, development, testing, deployment, and lifecycle delivery.
- Build AI-infused applications, agentic solutions, and Copilot features that improve user experience and productivity.
- Design resilient, secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions and guide technology and design-pattern decisions.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and design feedback while promoting inclusion and team development.
- Collaborate with product teams, program managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to manage dependencies and deliver updates.
- Establish coding, testing, documentation, quality, performance, and service-reliability practices.
- Support and maintain existing services and integrations with line-of-business applications.
- Drive automation, process optimization, technical innovation, sprint planning, estimates, and transparent delivery communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience as a software engineer building commercial software and shipping successful products and services.
- 8+ years of experience with cloud development principles and patterns, including loosely coupled architectures, microservices, and DevOps models.
- 5+ years of experience leading, managing, and driving technical and architectural dependencies.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, or equivalent languages and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with AI technologies, ASP.NET, Azure PaaS services, web apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, Event Hub, REST APIs, SQL, and NoSQL.
- Experience working in agile teams or startup environments with customer focus and strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Git, automated build systems, software validation systems, project tracking, lifecycle management systems, Azure, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, React, analytics applications, data science models, and applied AI.
- Preferred business acumen, customer focus, cross-group influence, and experience leading a talented team in a collaborative environment.
