Responsibilities
- Lead development of the cloud-native Compute Control Plane built on Kubernetes and related technologies.
- Provide technical and architectural leadership for highly available, resilient, distributed microservices supporting massive-scale operations.
- Shape the engineering roadmap in collaboration with management and business stakeholders.
- Develop enterprise features and best practices for the cloud-native platform.
- Mentor engineers, facilitate knowledge sharing, and collaborate with engineering teams.
- Drive innovative solutions and rapid development in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Thought leadership in cloud-native platform engineering.
- Experience building and operating highly available, fault-tolerant, scalable production services with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
- Expertise with containers and related technologies.
- Expert knowledge of Go, with proficiency in Python or Bash for scripting.
- Expertise in networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, and HTTP.
- Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.
- Expertise using CI/CD tools to support strong software development practices.
