Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Mastercard’s Open Banking products and bank-connectivity APIs.
- Build solutions supporting account information and payment initiation services.
- Solve technical challenges involving API security, data accessibility, processing, and analysis.
- Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and Azure.
- Use ticketing systems, version control, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines in the software development process.
- Collaborate with software engineers and colleagues across multiple countries.
- Follow Mastercard security policies, protect information confidentiality and integrity, report suspected security breaches, and complete required security training.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of at least some of C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and Azure is required.
- Experience building software using modern development standards is expected.
- Experience building ASP.NET applications is relevant even without prior cloud experience.
- Experience with Terraform infrastructure as code is beneficial.
- Interest in computer security topics such as certificates and HTTPS is beneficial.
- Prior experience in closely regulated industries such as financial or medical environments is welcome but not required.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and solve problems.
