Base Salary
$112k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, unit test, and maintain secure, high-quality full-stack applications.
- Develop backend services, database queries, APIs, and frontend UI components.
- Execute multiple high-impact LLM-based projects and measure productivity improvements from AI-enabled engineering practices.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, concurrent, low-latency systems.
- Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews and contribute to the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, project managers, and developers to implement business requirements.
- Provide third-level support to business users and stay current with engineering trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- 6 months to 2 years of hands-on expertise with Java, Spring, Python, and related technologies.
- Experience with highly distributed, scalable, concurrent, and low-latency systems.
- Experience with DB2, MySQL, or NoSQL data warehouses such as HBase.
- Experience with generative AI, big data, and UI technologies is advantageous.
- Strong ability to realize the potential of LLM-based AI frameworks and manage concurrent AI and non-AI application projects.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field and 2 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Experience with Agile, Test-Driven Development, Jenkins, Artifactory, Git, Selenium, or Chef is desirable.
