Staff Software Engineer (.NET)
TELUS DigitalResponsibilities
- Develop an innovative system and new functionality end to end.
- Design and improve pharmacy software supporting Canadian pharmacy practice.
- Build scalable, resilient, and mission-critical systems using modern architecture and technology.
- Integrate with partners and third-party APIs while applying security best practices.
- Ensure system performance and quality and participate in design and integration work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams and maintain current technology expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or information technology, including computer science or data sciences, or equivalent experience.
- At least seven years of technical or software development experience with .NET and .NET Core.
- Strong AI-driven experience and expertise in design patterns, development best practices, system design, and integration.
- Experience delivering complex solutions and balancing delivery time, quality, scope, and cost while proactively resolving issues.
- Experience with cloud technologies, local APIs, interface agreements, third-party API integrations, authentication, and security.
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server, Aurora, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Experience developing full-stack systems from the database through the presentation layer.
- Strong experience using Visual Studio, Git, and SourceTree.
