Base Salary
$175k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical execution for large-scale efforts and multiple software projects.
- Provide architectural guidance, technical planning, design reviews, and code reviews for Agile, Plan of Record, and Next Gen Architecture projects.
- Design and develop scalable web applications and server-side components.
- Collaborate with TPMs, engineering managers, internal partners, and Scrum teams to manage risks, dependencies, blockers, and delivery plans.
- Define and promote reusable design patterns, engineering best practices, platform standards, and design principles.
- Evaluate application performance, scalability, availability, hardware usage, runtime, load, and memory requirements.
- Prepare metrics covering design reviews, code reviews, CI/CD, and design-pattern adoption.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and technical controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Six years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation analyzing application requirements.
- Six years of experience building scalable web applications using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, and Node.js.
- Six years of experience designing web application user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience executing projects through Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience maintaining and optimizing cloud-deployed applications for high availability and scalability.
- Experience integrating XML and JSON data transfer protocols.
- Experience architecting scalable server-side components using Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, Struts, REST APIs, and CI/CD.
- Experience using MQ, WebSphere, Oracle 12c, Hibernate, WGCA–ADA, Jersey REST API, and Tomcat.
- Experience providing technical leadership, architecture guidance, design reviews, code reviews, and risk management across complex projects.
