Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy real-world robot learning systems across manipulation, locomotion, and control.
  • Own robotics systems end to end, including simulation, data processing, model training, and deployment on real robots.
  • Apply classical robotics and learning-based approaches while evaluating their trade-offs.
  • Iterate robotics systems from 0 to 1 using feedback from real-world operation.
  • Work with high-degree-of-freedom manipulators and mobile robots in simulation and on physical hardware.
  • Contribute to technical foundations supporting large-scale robot learning and pursue state-of-the-art robotics techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in robotics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with Python and modern deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX.
  • Full-stack experience across robot learning, including data processing, model training, and deployment.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and deploying robot learning systems in research or production environments.
  • Strong understanding of classical robotics techniques, learning-based approaches, and their trade-offs.
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of robot manipulation, locomotion, navigation algorithms, imitation learning, generative modeling, or reinforcement learning.
  • Ability to work across simulation and real hardware, including high-degree-of-freedom manipulators and mobile robots.
  • Passion for robotics, state-of-the-art research, and working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
