Base Salary
$145k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of privacy engineering solutions and integrations with privacy management platforms and enterprise data infrastructure.
- Assess ad tech practices and implement technical measures for privacy compliance across websites, mobile applications, and tracking technologies.
- Develop website scanning strategies and support consent and preference management obligations.
- Analyze network traffic, use network scanning tools, and document data flows for privacy impact assessments, data inventories, and regulatory programs.
- Lead privacy technology implementations, source code analyses, website and application compliance reviews, and privacy technology training.
- Manage engagement workstreams, supervise junior team members, and serve as a primary client contact.
- Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, standardized methodologies, and reusable work products.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving privacy regulations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in privacy engineering, technical privacy consulting, or a closely related field.
- Experience designing and implementing technical privacy solutions, including system integrations, consent management, and privacy by design frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and HIPAA and their technical implementation.
- Ability to travel to FTI offices and client sites as needed.
- Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; the position does not provide visa sponsorship.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Privacy Engineering, or a related technical field.
- CIPP and/or CIPT certification is preferred, and OneTrust certifications are a plus.
- Experience with tag management systems, marketing technologies, privacy management platforms, data integration pipelines, and programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of internet protocol layers and network security concepts.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
