Lead Forward Deployed Engineer
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Lead the design, construction, deployment, validation, and observability of AI agents and agentic experiences in enterprise customer environments.
- Own complex technical components including agent intelligence, prompts, reasoning, tool calls, architecture decisions, and customer-system integrations.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Oversee agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting to track deployment health and business outcomes.
- Lead PoCs and MVPs from concept to deployable production solutions while co-building with customers and partners.
- Mentor junior engineers, enable customer and partner teams, surface platform gaps and field insights, and lead technical discussions with customer stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with multiple production systems.
- Extensive customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Fluency in at least two of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Deep hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering, plus expert-level knowledge of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Ability to lead technical conversations with customer architects and executive stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and at least one of German or French, both spoken and written.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce platform certifications, experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex, cloud data platform expertise, and specialist experience in data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments.
