Forward Deployed Engineer
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Lead the design and end-to-end production deployment of AI agents and experiences, including architecture, prompts, reasoning, tool calls, integrations, validation, and observability.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Lead proofs of concept and minimum viable products from concept to deployable solutions in partnership with customers and partners.
- Lead a delivery pod, mentor junior engineers, enable customer and partner teams, and surface platform gaps and field insights to product teams.
- Oversee agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting to track deployment health and business outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with multiple production systems.
- Extensive customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Fluency in at least two of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Deep hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering, plus expert knowledge of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Ability to lead technical discussions with customer architects and executive stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and at least one of German or French, spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce Platform Developer I, Agentforce Specialist, or Architect-level certifications; familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex; and experience with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments.
