Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver control software and firmware for ultra-high-performance electronic products.
- Own all aspects of product designs, including firmware, microcode, drivers, and upper-level control software.
- Develop system bring-up, diagnostics, runtime control operating system, and support applications.
- Perform debugging, unit testing, and system-level testing.
- Own product development from inception through volume production and ongoing product sustainability.
- Support customer trials, resolve field issues, and collaborate with internal support groups and partner engineering teams.
- Provide technical leadership or mentorship to a small, multidisciplinary design team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- 12+ years of related experience.
- Experience developing embedded system software for large-scale, complex multiprocessor product architectures.
- In-depth understanding of complete system software, from system bring-up and diagnostics through runtime control and support applications.
- Expertise with debugging tools and testing techniques, including unit and system-level testing.
- Demonstrated lifecycle ownership of complex products from inception to volume production.
- Small-team leadership or proven technical mentoring experience is beneficial.

- Annual base salary range of CAD 114,400.00 to CAD 183,000.00.
