Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and own the development of new features.
- Collaborate with empathy on system architecture and scaling decisions.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Design relational and non-relational data models for optimal performance.
- Drive technical architecture discussions and conduct peer code reviews.
- Collaborate with Data Science, Product, and engineering teams to shape the roadmap.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience with object-oriented or functional programming languages, specifically Python.
- Hands-on experience with coding tools to enhance development quality.
- Experience with deploying LLM-based systems in production.
- 4+ years of experience building distributed systems at scale.
- 4+ years of experience with a modern data stack including RDS, Databricks, and Spark.
- Deep expertise in SQL and data modeling.
- Experience delivering on large impact initiatives across the organization.
- Nice to have: experience developing highly available APIs and applied AI/ML features.
