Base Salary
$44k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test frameworks for Cisco platforms.
- Write, debug, and maintain automated test scripts using Python to improve regression coverage.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Use Linux environments, Git, and developer tools to analyze test results and identify root causes of bugs.
- Collaborate with development teams to support high-quality software releases.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, with plans to continue enrollment after the co-op term.
- Foundational programming and scripting skills in Python, Java, or C/C++, with coursework or practical experience writing and debugging code.
- Familiarity with software quality assurance concepts, testing methodologies, Linux command-line environments, or Git version control.
- Familiarity with CI/CD automation concepts and software development lifecycles.
- Preferred: hands-on experience or coursework with pytest, unittest, or Selenium.
- Preferred: basic knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching, cloud security principles, Docker, or AI/ML developer tools.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, curiosity, and willingness to collaborate in a team environment.
