Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and develop Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions across the full claims lifecycle.
  • Implement Gosu customizations across rules, entities, workflows, PCF screens, and extension logic.
  • Build and maintain ClaimCenter integrations using messaging, REST/SOAP APIs, batch processes, claim ingestion feeds, document management interfaces, financial or ERP integrations, and external data providers.
  • Translate functional claims requirements into technical specifications covering class structures, workflows, events, data mappings, and API behavior.
  • Configure workflows for FNOL intake, triage, routing, assignment, activity plans, litigation, vendor management, and payment authorization.
  • Apply Guidewire best practices, performance guidelines, coding standards, and deployment architecture practices.
  • Participate in sprint planning, grooming, technical feasibility reviews, code reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Optimize performance, troubleshoot defects, support production deployments, and stabilize environments.
  • Develop reusable components, mentor junior developers, and contribute to long-term delivery capability.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer with hands-on Gosu, ClaimCenter configuration, and integration development experience.
  • Deep understanding of insurance claims domains including FNOL, coverage verification, investigation, exposures, reserves, payments, subrogation, litigation, vendor management, and financial authority controls.
  • Experience building and supporting ClaimCenter integrations involving messaging plugins, service APIs, claim ingestion, payment systems, document generation, and external data providers.
  • Ability to convert functional requirements into maintainable technical designs, workflow logic, extension models, batches, and API implementation details.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across ClaimCenter UI, rules, entity model, messaging, integrations, data, workflows, and batches.
  • Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or SAFe, including technical grooming, estimation, and code reviews.
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate with business analysts, quality analysts, architects, and client stakeholders.
  • Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, solution delivery, and production stability.
  • Guidewire ClaimCenter certifications are preferred.
