Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement backend applications using Java and modern JVM technologies.
- Create solutions using Clean Code, SOLID, TDD, and DDD practices.
- Integrate applications with components deployed in Kubernetes environments.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Enable AI-assisted engineering using tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Collaborate in agile international teams and contribute to shared engineering practices.
Requirements
- A technical degree and solid software engineering fundamentals are required.
- A minimum of 2–5 years of experience with Java/JVM-based technologies is required.
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate, Maven, and Git is required.
- Ability to write unit tests using JUnit and Mockito is required.
- Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL or Oracle, or non-relational databases such as Redis or MongoDB, is required.
- Practical experience with CI/CD and version control systems is required.
- Experience with GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, or willingness to use them in daily development, is required.
- Communicative English and German language skills, with German at least B1, are required.
- Experience with Kubernetes and frontend technologies such as Angular or React is preferred.
