Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own agent systems end-to-end for identity, fraud, risk, and commerce workflows.
- Build reliable multi-step agent workflows involving planning, execution, observation, tool use, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
- Own evaluation harnesses and observability for production agent systems.
- Troubleshoot non-deterministic failures across models, tools, orchestration, and infrastructure.
- Set and communicate technical vision to technical and non-technical stakeholders and to the agents being directed.
- Use AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity and streamline workflows while maintaining responsible, secure, and compliant practices.
- Orchestrate AI agents in daily engineering work, verify their output, and remain accountable for the resulting changes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated impact on production systems.
- Fluency using AI agents in an engineering workflow, including maintaining a mental model, verifying outputs, and remaining accountable.
- Demonstrated ability to own features end-to-end and communicate trade-offs clearly.
- Experience defining and solving challenging, novel, or ambiguous problems.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, tool use, at least one agent framework such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen, and evaluation frameworks for agent behavior.
- Preferred experience in financial services, identity, fraud, risk, AML, fraud rules engines, identity graphs, risk scoring, or other compliance-heavy environments.
- Preferred experience with multi-agent orchestration, production-grade evaluation harnesses, AI observability tooling, MLOps practices, experiment tracking, model registries, feature stores, vector databases, knowledge graphs, or structured retrieval for agent memory.
