Responsibilities
- Be the technical owner of a service or platform end to end.
- Design systems for operation, considering failure modes and observability.
- Produce automation and tooling in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Isolate faults across infrastructure-as-code and observability.
- Work across cloud-native and classified on-premises environments.
- Carry out ISM/PSPF accreditation work for the service owned.
- Partner with software and engineering teams, mentoring in reliability practices.
Requirements
- Around eight or more years in infrastructure, reliability, platform, or DevOps roles.
- Proven track record as the technical owner of a service or platform.
- Deep understanding of several layers of the technology stack.
- Fluent in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, or Go.
- Strong systems-design judgement for operability and security.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and Kubernetes.
- Australian citizen able to obtain and maintain an Australian NV2 security clearance.
